The top universities of Asia have in recent years established themseives as genuine global powerhouses. The caliber of teacher, the quality of facilities, the cutting edge technology and focus on research has propelled Asian leaming institutions up the independent world rankings and also seen them attract hundreds of thousands of international students.
Economically this makes sound sense. Students immerse themselves in the country, grow networks, share knowledge and - together with local business and scholars - best practice forms.
Socially and culturally, Asia has much to recommend it to intemational students. There are climates to suit all people, the diverse range of religions and socio-economic backgrounds, put the continent in a unique place, which also means that students get experience of working with people who think differently, which is always the most effective way to learn.
